Harbert is a peaceful beach community in Southwest Michigan that feels a world away from the “bustle” of New Buffalo and St Joseph. Most of our streets are not paved and most of us neighbors know each other by name. Our homes are nestled in the woods to provide plenty of privacy. Every walk feels like a “nature walk” because you are surrounded by nature! We have 2 public beaches, but they feel like private beaches because they are small, informal and welcoming. Plus restaurants, bakeries, shops & breweries are all just a 5 min drive or 10 min walk away. Once you stay here in Harbert you’ll wonder why you ever “settled” for Union Pier or New Buffalo before!
